Created and implemented a storytelling group-the Tale Spinners—for three elementary schools in the Fitzgerald School District in Warren, Michigan. Through the use of theatre improvisational games and other theatrical-oriented games, students developed better reading and listening skills, improved cognitive development and utilized many school benchmark criteria through storytelling and writing. At the end of each semester, students performed in front of a live audience, telling the stories they had worked on so hard during the semesters.

Party For Peace. Organized by Peace by Piece, this program was created to help raise funds for Alternatives for Girls, a full-time shelter for women. Through storytelling and different crafts, women and girls shared their experiences of abuse, healing and hope.
